Eau Claire: Day 4
Hey all,

Well, just when things look up they look down....

Racheal and I were buried in computers yesterday, as we had to move around a few sections. Rach & I did the Networking plano, as I had to rearrange, the already-set planos of Gaming Controllers and Network Accessories. After that, I moved over to Internet Communications (webcams/mics), while Rach did Broadband & Modems. I later moved to Apple Accessories, and we worked together getting the Apple Monolith Wall ready.

In other things...the Milwaukee team's FDM, Jon, reminds me a lot of Jared. Cool outside of work, total ass at work, especially with the way he was with Kelsey the other day (and just DRAGGING out our day the other day 'til 10:15! I just got the feeling that most of Jon's team was about to turn against him the last few days. *shrug*

Anyway...we're staying at the only Wisconsin branch of this Iowa hotel chain, the Heartland Inn. Or as Racheal terms it, it's as "if a hotel from the 50s and the 80s slept together." It's rustic, and now that I understand Jon a bit more....CHEAP (and right across from the store). The beds aren't too comfy (I MISS Country Inn & Suites now), the pillows aren't at all comfortable, you only have a dinky 13" color cable TV. But at the very least, I have a mini-fridge and microwave here (which I'm wondering if Jon got them to put those in, or if they're a perk of the place. In the morning, they have breakfast, but it's not much. You have waffles, your usual toast/breads, danish, and this super tiny biscuits with really good sausage gravy (the ONLY good thing about breakfast). I doubt I'd ever stay at this place, beyond this. At the very least, they have FAST, free wireless internet.

More later,
Matt
